Tour of Bronte Clinic News
Group Road Riding 101
Would you like to get through the headwinds of Paris-Ancaster with less pain? Or take full advantage in a “draft legal” Triathlon? Are you tired of getting dropped in group rides? This 3 hour clinic will give you the knowledge and confidence to tuck into the ‘draft’ of other riders and stay on pace. Led by the Gears Bike Shop resident Level 3 coach, Derek MacNeil, you will learn the techniques of drafting, echelons, and single and double pace lines. You’ll also have the opportunity to practice cornering, braking and general etiquette skills needed to be safe in a large or small group. This clinic will give you immediate results in your ability to stay with stronger riders. Graduates will also receive a discounted entry in the Tour of Bronte the following day. Class size is limited so register today to get your spot!
